Introduction and Quest

You have been selected to be on the panel of judges for the famous Pattonville PSA Picks.  You will be listening to several public service announcements (PSAs) and judging each on the important criteria of an effective PSA.  Will you be the Òbrutally honestÓ judge or the Òeternal optimistÓ judge?

Then you will take on the role of graphic designer and create an award for the winner of the yearsÕ best PSA.  Who will walk the red carpet and receive your unique award?

Steps to Follow

You'll begin by visiting the Ad CouncilÕs website.

1.       Click on one of the categories on the left hand side:  Community, Education, Health & Safety.

2.       Under the category you will see a list of sub-categories.  (for example adoption, energy efficiency, etc.)

3.       Choose any 3 sub-categories to click on.

4.       When you view a sub-category you will see different types of PSAs listed on the right hand side.  Some are for magazines, some for television, some for radio.

9.       Listen to it again.
