Our Acomplishments
- Pattonville Heights students participated in numerous community service projects, including writing letters to United States soldiers in Iraq, donating food and money to Loaves and Fishes (a local food pantry) and raising more than $1,000 for the Pennies for Pasta Drive that benefits a local charity.
- The Pattonville Heights family has two employees who are battling cancer. Last spring, a Trivia Night for the Heights staff was held to raise money to help assist them. More than 40 teams registered to compete, with approximately 450 people in attendance. Along with the 10 rounds of trivia, participants had the opportunity to place bids for items in a silent auction and raffles. The event was an enormous success with more than $15,000 being raised.
- Pattonville Heights’ Read, Right and Run Club members worked toward their individual goals of reading 26 books, running 50 miles, and volunteering 26 hours of their time to the school and surrounding community. For six months, students met on a weekly basis to obtain their miles and to condition for the Spirit of Saint Louis 5K Run/Walk. The run/walk gave the students the last three miles needed to complete their goal of running a total of 50 miles. Volunteer opportunities, such as helping with Pennies for Patients and aiding teachers, were also given during after-school activities.
