Board Actions

The board of education on June 13:

  • Reviewed and approved the budget for the 2022-2023 school year; read the report or view the presentation
  • Heard updates from the district's construction, technology and wellness committees;
  • Heard an update on proposed learning model changes at Remington Traditional School; view the presentation;
  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district’s food service program; read the report or view the presentation;
  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district’s wellness program; read the report or view the presentation;
  • Approved paying $1,713,214.14 for regular bills;
  • Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements through May 2023;
  • Approved paying $386,035.13, for purchases made on Pattonville’s purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of 1% (or $3,860.35);
  • Approved the 2022-2023 budget revisions; read the report;
  • Approve the resolution authorizing disbursement of funds;
  • Approved the grants for 2023-2024; see a list;
  • Approved the bond issue projects contract adjustment change orders totaling $213,633.14;
  • Approved the Amendment to the Economic Agreement for the 2023-2024 school year only between the Pattonville School District and the Pattonville Educational Support Professionals (PESP);
  • Approved the maintenance agreement with Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD) for a bioretention pond at Bridgeway Elementary School, Willow Brook Elementary School and Holman Middle School and easement for Bridgeway;
  • Approved curriculum course change recommendations for the 2023-2024 school year;
  • Adopted the instructional materials for 6-12 grade English language arts education instruction;
  • Approved revisions to Pattonville School District's 2023-2024 student behavior guides;
  • Waived the lodging of and approve the adoption of policy IGAB, the revisions to policies IF, IF-R-1, IGAD, IGC, IKE, IL, IND, JEA, JEC, and JECA, and the rescission of policies IF-R-2, IKE-R, JE, and JEB;
  • Approved paying $15,788.50 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan & Jackstadt for legal services;

  • Approved the renewal of the food service management company (FSMC) costs plus fee Agreement with Chartwells for the period of July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024, for $1,600,000;
  • Awarded the bid for network and electrical cabling to Netcom, Inc., in the total amount of $434,476.53;
  • Approved the statement of work agreement with the Institute for Personalized Learning, a division of Cooperative Educational Services Agency 1 (CESA #!), for $29,980, plus travel expenses;
  • Approved the purchase of copy paper supplies (approximately 840 cases) from Midland Paper Company for $30,492;
  • Approve the renewal of the TimeClock Plus software and hardware support and maintenance with TimeClock Plus for Aug. 10, 2023, through Aug. 9, 2024, for $24,463.77;
  • Approved the renewal of the Mitel software assurance system and support with Vertical Communications, Inc., for July 15, 2023, to July 14, 2024, for an estimated amount of $14,991.18;
  • Approved the renewal of the SeeSaw annual online subscription with SeeSaw for July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024, for an estimated amount of $23,530.50;
  • Awarded the bid for alarm monitoring to Interface Security Systems LLC, for $195,466.96 for a three-year term;
  • Awarded the bid for renewal of Aruba support to Provision Data Solutions for a one-year term at $38,825;
  • Awarded the bid for summer 2023 flooring work to Richardet Floor Covering for $266,573;
  • Approved the purchase of the replacement of the circuit 2 compressor on the Trane chiller at Drummond Elementary School for $35,200;
  • Awarded the bid for the Drummond Project to JE Foster for $112,095;
  • Approved the renewal of the Mosyle MDM licenses with Mosyle Corporation for one year for $48,966.50;
  • Approved the district's health benefits for the next three years; an additional recommendation will follow at a later date for a specific plan design and premiums;
  • Approved the district's pharmacy benefits manager for the next three years; an additional recommendation will follow at a later date for a specific plan design and premiums;
  • Approved the district's flexible spending account manager for the next three years;
  • Approved the district's employee assistance program for the next three years; and
  • Approved the district's worksite benefits/supplemental health plans for the next three years.
